Description Toxin from the theraphosid spider Chilobrachys guangxiensis which inhibits the inactivation of voltage-gated sodium channels. The toxins slows down channel inactivation by shifting voltage dependence of activation to more depolarised potentials. A binding site different to sites 3 and 4 on sodium channels is suggested for the toxin
